Auction to Benefit Olcott Beach Carousel Park The Olcott Fire Company hall on Lockport Olcott Road in Olcott is the setting of this fabulous auction, which features original art, antiques, memorabilia, and much more. Items for auction may be reviewed from 12 - 2 PM with complimentary music and luncheon buffet. Beverages are available at a nominal fee. A chance auction will be ongoing from 12 - 4 PM and the live auction begins at 2 PM and is sponsored by the Olcott Fire Company, and Scott Perry, auctioneer, to benefit Olcott Beach Carousel Park, Inc. A $10 admission and registration fee is payable at the door. The event is co-chaired by Barbara and Nelson Colley, and James and Rosemary Sansone. Sign up to Volunteer at Olcott Beach Carousel Park
Come to the new Newfane Town Hall on Main St. between 5:30 - 7 PM and sign up to volunteer at Olcott Beach Carousel Park. Training is provided. Olcott Beach Carousel Park Opens
Kick off the start of the season at Olcott Beach Carousel Park during Memorial Day Weekend from 12 - 6 PM. The park will be open on Saturdays and Sundays through June from 12 - 6PM. July through Labor Day hours are Thursday Friday, Sunday 12 - 6 PM and Saturday 12 - 8 PM. September - October 3 the park is open from 12 - 6 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
 June 24, 2010:
Ragtime & Dixieland Concert Benefit for Olcott Beach Carousel Park.
This event will feature two musical venues: The River Dogs, a local and famous Dixieland band and the nationally famous Ragtime piano player, Bob Milne. Bob has played for four United States presidents. This concert is guaranteed to have you stopping your feet and rocking in your seat. The event will be held at the Historic Palace Theater at 2 East Ave. in Lockport, NY on Thursday, June 24 at 7 PM. Tickets are $10 and wine and beer will be available for an additional cost. Tickets may be purchased at the Historic Palace Theater, Mills Jewelers on Main St., Lockport; the ticket booth at Olcott Beach Carousel Park, 5979 Main St. Olcott; Images of the Past on Ontario St., Olcott; or by phoning 716-778-7066. All proceeds will benefit Olcott Beach Carousel Park where the rides are only 25 cents!

Patriots Day Parade:
Kids! Deck yourself out in red, white and blue and decorate your bikes and wagons. Meet at the Krull Park overlook in the north park by 12 PM and march to Olcott Beach Carousel Park. Free ice cream and ride ticket for participants.

Olcott Garden Tour to Benefit Olcott Beach
Carousel Park: This tour takes in gardens of homes in Olcott and its surrounding area, many gardens with lake views. Tickets are $10 and include the self-guided tour of many gardens, a carousel ride & a game of Skee Ball at Carousel Park, among many others perks. Greenhouse and landscaping vendors will be in the Main St. gazebo area in Olcott. Tickets available at Hedley's Mini Mart in Olcott, the ticket booth at Olcott Beach Carousel Park, or by calling Jane at 778-7767.

Old Olcott Days and entertainment on the Tom Kelley Rustic Theater Stage
Board a trolley on the lakeside entrance to Olcott Beach Carousel Park and get a narrated tour of the history of Olcott Beach from 12 - 5 PM. Memorabilia of Olcott is also on display at the park
 August 10, 2010:
Jazz Sea Sunset at the Olcott Yacht Club to Benefit Olcott Beach Carousel Park
This event is a fundraiser for Olcott Beach Carousel Park and takes place from 7 - 10 PM. It is sponsored by the Olcott Yacht Club, chaired by Doloros Stinson, and is open to the public. Participants are treated to an evening of jazz entertainment (for listening and dancing under the stars) with Sophisticated Swing on the patio and Kevin Clark in the dining room. Three musical groups will be available at different locations at the yacht club. Tickets are $20 and include hors d’oeuvres and a choice of one sandwich. Cash bar and a view of the sunset on Lake Ontario. Park at the Harbor Inn on Rt. 18 and take the trolley to the yacht club. Get tickets early, last year was a sellout! Olcott Beach Carousel Park Presents Roaring 20’s Community Appreciation Day
Come celebrate our 1928 Allen Herschell carousel’s birthday, Roaring 20’s style from 12 - 6 PM. Special guests include Popeye, Betty Boop. and Clowns. Antique 1920's cars. Entertainment on stage featuring the Niagara County Community ege dancers and the musical group Sophisticated Swing . Free washable tattoos for the kids, a Skee Ball Challenge (3 divisions, winners of each division receive a Regal Theater Gift Card), cookies, and free rides on the Olcott Fire Truck from 1 - 3 PM.  October 2 & 3, 2010:
Halloween Fun at Olcott Beach Carousel Park
Put on your costume and join the friendly spooks at Olcott Beach Carousel Park for some Halloween fun from 12 - 6 PM. Live on stage both days during the weekend is Bob and Carol Allen’s Magic Show at 1:15 PM. Magic tricks and animal balloons are also featured after the magic show until 3 PM. Kid friendly “scary” cartoons at the Tom Kelley
 Rustic Theater as well as costume judging and costume parade. There will be mystery prize rides for every full carousel ride as well as free apples and pumpkins (one per child) while they last. This will be the last weekend the park will be open for the season.
